Cagliari coach Ivo Pulga has thanked the supporters after yet another season where Cagliari avoided the drop.
Pulga, who was sacked in midseason from the assistant coach position and then recalled for the head coach position, has not been confirmed as coach for next season yet.
“Thanks to everyone who loved me, supported me and also helped me,” Pulga told the fans.
“All in all, we all achieved the most import important thing… Staying in Serie A.”
If Pulga is not permanently apppointed, Cagliari might opt for the return of Diego Lopez, but they are also thinking about hiring an emerging coach like Latina’s Roberto Breda or Trapani’s Roberto Boscaglia.
