Despite recently securing safety for Chievo, Eugenio Corini’s job is under threat as reports suggest he will be replaced in the summer.

The Flying Donkeys remained in Serie A after a 1-0 victory away at Cagliari, a result that kept them in Italy’s top flight for another season.

Nevertheless, Tuttomercatoweb.com have claimed that the Gialloblu tactician is likely to be removed with Livorno coach Davide Nicola in pole position to replace the 43-year-old.

The Stadio Bentegodi side removed Corini last year for Giuseppe Sannino, however president Luca Campedelli quickly reinstalled the former Palermo man after a dreadful start to the campaign.
