Chievo have extended the contracts of Dario Dainelli, Gennaro Sardo, and Nicolas Frey.

All three players had contracts that were set to expire this summer but the trio have agreed to extend their stays with the Flying Donkeys..

Corriere dello Sport reports that all three players have extended their deals for one more season, hours after Chievo announced that it had extended coach Eugenio Corini’s contract through 2017.

All three players were regular first team members for Chievo as they finished 16th in Serie A this season.

Dainelli joined Chievo on loan in January 2012 and his transfer was made permanent the following summer. Sardo was originally loaned to Chievo in 2009 and was transferred to the club in August 2010

Frey has the most longevity of the three having signed with Chievo in 2008.
