Chievo will meet with coach Eugenio Corini on Thursday before deciding whether the two parties will move forward together, however the Flying Donkeys have already prepared alternatives should the tactician leave.

The same situation played out last summer when the two sides decided to part ways before Corini returned in November to replace Giuseppe Sannino after some disappointing results.

Corriere del Veneto reports that former Catania coach Rolando Marian and Livorno coach Davide Nicola are the favourites replace Corini should he once again leave the Verona club.

However the report suggests that both parties are confident they can reach an agreement to continue their relationship for at least another season.

Chievo secured their place in the Serie A after finishing in 16th place this season.
