AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is all but certain that Kaka will stay with the Rossoneri for next season.

The Rossoneri legend’s future with the club has been thrown into doubt after reports of a clause allowing him to leave the club should they fail to qualify for the Champions League, but Galliani has moved to deny those suggestions.

“Of course we’ll try to keep him,” Galliani told Milan Channel.

“There’s a 99.99% chance that he stays with us.

“[Adil] Rami? I spoke with Rami and I told him that today’s deadline expired for us to pay the buyout clause. We have already said no to Valencia for the requested amount, but we have a new deal in place.

“We’ll meet in Lisbon on Friday before the Champions League final and will begin a new negotiation. Rami wants to stay, he had another great game yesterday.”
