Hellas Verona to decide Luca Toni future soon

luca toni veronaThe future of Hellas Verona forward Luca Toni is set to be resolved next week when the club will meet with the 37-year-old to discuss a possible contract renewal.

The World Cup winner’s contract is due to expire this summer however having topped the Mastini’s scoring charts with 20 Serie A goals this term, the club are open to the possibility of extending Toni’s deal.

According to Il Corriere di Verona, after Hellas have resolved the futures of Emil Halfredsson, Juan Iturbe and coach Andrea Mandorlini, they will turn their attention to the former Bayern Munich forward.

A meeting between the Scaligeri’s hierarchy and Toni is set to take place next week where the No.9 will listen to the clubs plans while asking for clarification over his future.

The Gialloblu are also looking to conclude negotiations with Greek defender, Vangelis Moras, with reports claiming that a contract renewal is imminent.
