Inter have reportedly placed a bid for Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

The Nerazzurri have been linked with a move for the Bosnian striker in recent weeks with new Inter owner Erick Thohir placing the attacking talent on the top of his priority list.

Sportmediaset report thatThohir has taken a step forward by lodging a €20 million bid for the Citizens striker.

The Nerazzurri have made it clear that they want to strengthen their attacking by reinforcing it with fresh talent and world class performers as they fight to get into the Champions League in 2014/15.

Inter have also been linked with moves for Chelsea’s Fernando Torres or Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata if negotiations fail for Dzeko.

Dzeko has bagged 12 goals in the Premier League this season, facing competition from stars such as Sergio Agüero and Spanish talent Álvaro Negredo.
