Inter president Erick Thohir has stated that the Nerazzurri will target two major signings during the summer transfer window.

The Beneamata have locked up fifth place in the table and will compete in the Europa League next season, but it appears as though the club’s new owner is looking to bring glory back to the club.

In an effort to get back to that level, Thohir stated that the club will look to strengthen the squad even more in the summer as reported by VIVABola.

“Our plan is to strengthen the team and to return to competing for the upcoming Serie A, and improve the performance of the team.

“Plans call for the purchase of two great players, but I can’t give you further details before the negotiations even get underway.”

Inter have already agreed to a deal to bring Manchester United’s 32-year-old centre-back Nemanja Vidic in on a free transfer.
