Juventus may be set to renew their interest in Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin this summer.

Guarin was ready to sign for the Bianconeri last January, but a deal with Mirko Vucinic going the opposite direction broke down at the 11th hour.

Inter are reportedly asking for €15 million along with certain guaranteed bonuses based on performance, according to Tuttosport.

Though Guarin signed a contract extension after his failed move to Turin, many Inter supporters were still unhappy with the midfielder’s play.

Guarin featured 32 times for the Nerazzurri last term collecting four goals and six assists. The Colombian raised the ire of Inter supporters with some of his poor performances and lack of enthusiasm on the field.

Juventus may have competition to sign Guarin, however, as English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the Colombian.

The 27-year-old is in the Colombia provisional squad ahead of the World Cup and could increase Inter’s asking price with a solid tournament in Brazil.
