Lazio star to discuss pay rise

candrevaAntonio Candreva will soon meet with Lazio president Claudio Lotito to discuss the renewal and a pay rise.

The 27-year-old is co-owned by Lazio and Udinese, but the Zebrette have already said that the player will not be joining them as he has higher aspirations.

Rome based newspaper Il Tempo reports that Candreva wants the same wages as the highest paid player Miroslav Klose, currently €2 million per year.

Meanehile, the Italian’s excellent performances this season have drawn the interest of many top clubs, such as Juventus, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

Candreva scored 12 goals and provided nine assists in 37 Serie A matches during the last campaign.
