Hellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini revealed that he wants to stay with the club following their final match of the season against Napoli.

The Gialloblu suffered an embarrassing 5-1 defeat to the Partenopei, but the tactician is still optimistic about the future.

“My future? To stay in Verona,” said Mandorlini to TuttoMercatoWeb.

“I’m happy and will try to repeat even though it will not be easy.

“Juan Iturbe ready for a big club? Absolutely, he’s improved a lot and has impressive speed. He’s an important player, so it would be nice for me to train with him.”

Mandorlini then discussed Verona’s performance against Napoli.

“When you unwind against an opponent like that this happens. We already achieved our goal, we stayed up. We lost out on the European race due to our mistakes and suffered for it.”
