Napoli have been punished for the turmoil caused by their supporters before, during and after the Coppa Italia final.

The supporters were involved in a series of incidents such as forcing a gate and a turnstile to enter the stadium, fighting with the police, threatening violent acts, whistling the national anthem, invading the pitch, throwing firecrackers and using flares.

As a result, the Partenopei will have to play two games behind closed doors and pay a €60,000 fine.

The Stadio San Paolo will be empty for the game against Hellas Verona and for the first home match of next season.

Fiorentina have also been received a €50,000 fine and a one-game ban of the Curva Fiesole as their fans made territorial discriminatory chants against Napoli, and after the game a supporter hit a steward with a bottle.

However, as it is their first sanction, the ban of the Curva Fiesole has been suspended.
