Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons has revealed that he remains uncertain about his future despite strong interest from Napoli.
The 25-year-old reiterated his desire to evolve as a footballer, indicating that he is interested in a move to Serie A.
“At the moment I cannot say anything,” he told Le10Sport.
“I’ll talk with the president and we will find the best solution as I would like to know what are the future ambitions of the club. I would like to improve and look forward.”
The French international, who joined Lyon as a 10-year-old in 1999, has been a long-term target for Napoli and Rafael Benitez.
