Livorno coach Davide Nicola has stated that Parma were the better side as they beat his Livorno outfit on Sunday night.
The bottom placed side in Serie A were defeated 2-0 in the last round of fixtures in the Serie A season.
“The quality of Parma tonight has made a difference,” Nicola told the media after the match
“In situations like these you have to accept that and be happy with the good things that you have done, not only today but throughout the season.
“Last year we arrived from Serie B which capped a beautiful and unexpected promotion, and we should not forget that. ”
Nicola was unsure about his future after the game but insisted that he is good enough.
“I do not know whether I will stay but I will meet with the president.” Nicola continued.
“I think I’ve proven to be capable of being the coach of this club, I have had two wonderful years, we will see if we have everything needed to continue the relationship. ”
