Parma are trying to hold on on Roberto Donadoni, but they have prepared some alternatives if he leaves.

Donadoni is still in the mix to become the next AC Milan coach, even though the chief executive Adriano Galliani is now reportedly trying to lure Unai Emery away from Sevilla.

Teleducato reports that Parma are targeting AC Milan Primavera team coach Filippo Inzaghi, former Juventus and Genoa coach Luigi Del Neri and Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco.

However, Inzaghi and Di Francesco are likely to stay put, while Del Neri is being pursued by Udinese.

Therefore, Parma are also thinking about former Watford coach Gianfranco Zola, who stepped down from the Championship club in December, after leading them to the play-off final the previous season.

Zola played at Parma from 1993 to 1996, winning one UEFA Cup and one UEFA Super Cup.
