Real Madrid target Juventus midfielder

Real Madrid are thought to be targeting Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal as a potential replacement for Xabi Alonso.

Club president Florentino Perez, and coach Carlo Ancelotti, both are believed to be keen admirers of the Chilean international, and are looking to make him their primary summer target.

According to Tuttosport, Ancelotti has asked for the transfer of Vidal as he sees the Chilean as a great reinforcement in the Los Blancos midfield, as Alonso enters the final stages of his career.

Juventus are thought to be holding out for an estimated €50 million for their star man.

To ensure the deal is done, Perez is also ready to offer Fabio Coentrao or Marcelo as part of the deal in order to push through an agreement.
