Lazio are targeting three coaching options for next season with Sinisa Mihajlovic, Andrea Mandorlini and Stefano Pioli favourites to take over at the Stadio Olimpico.

Present coach Edoardo Reja is expected to leave the Biancocelesti despite only returning to the club in January to replace sacked Vladimir Petkovic with Reja revealing he still expects to remain coach for the 2014-15 season.

Corriere della Sera reports that Lazio are assessing the situation at Sampdoria with Mihajlovic yet to sign an extension to his present contract which expires at the end of the season.

Negotiations are postponed until May 23, with Lazio president Claudio Lotito awaiting the conclusion of any deal before making an approach.

The Serbian has also been linked with the current vacancy at Tottenham Hotspur.

A move for Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini is also rumoured and may prove a popular choice after guiding the Gialloblu from Serie C to Serie A, earning a top half finish this season.

Pioli is currently unemployed after being sacked by Bologna, however his reputation remains strong after keeping Bologna in Serie A for two seasons despite limited resources and may provide an affordable option.

There is also the option to promote former striker and current Primavera coach Simone Inzaghi to the role, while a move for Basel’s Murat Yakin will prove difficult, despite interest in the Swiss earlier in the season.
