West Ham are interested in signing AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang on loan with an option to buy next season.

The 19 year old Frenchman spent the second half of the season at French club Montpellier after struggling to cement a first team spot at Rossoneri, and could be on the move once again.

Sportmediaset report that West Ham will offer €300,000 for a season long loan, with a fixed buyout clause of €5 million to try and convince Milan to part with the young star.

The Hammers narrowly avoided relegation this past season and are hoping to reinforce their squad with some new blood to try and move the club in a positive direction.

Niang scored four times in 19 appearances in the Ligue 1 last season.
