AC Milan are reportedly interested on securing the services of left-back Marcelo from Real Madrid.

The 26-year old Brazil international struggled with an occurrence of injuries in the 2013/14 La Liga campaign though is being watched by the Rossoneri who are in need of defensive reinforcements after the Serie A side finished in a disappointing eighth position domestically.

According to reports coming from AS, it is believed that Italian giants AC Milan may look to make their interest official in Marcelo after this year’s World Cup in Brazil.

The former Fluminense player made 39 appearances for Los Blancos last season scoring twice and making six assists while also winning the Champions League and Copa del Rey. Marcelo is currently in his homeland Brazil with his team mates ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
