Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes that Italy can expose Uruguay’s defence when the two teams fight for qualification in their final Group D match at the 2014 World Cup.
The former AC Milan coach was asked about his thoughts on Italy’s 1-0 defeat to Costa Rica and then he gave his thoughts on how the Azzurri should approach the game against the Azzurri.
Ancelotti was quick to point out the strength of Uruguay’s attack, which consists of Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez, and he expects La Celeste to go for the win.
“It went bad, now they need to concentrate on Uruguay which is the most important thing,” Ancelotti told ANSA.
“They need to pay attention to their attacking potential but at the back they have problems like we saw with Costa Rica and England.
“It is very positive to have at your disposal two [positive] results out of three. They will be constructed to attack and Italy will be able to go on the counterattack.”
