Belgium’s 5-1 friendly win over Luxembourg has been wiped from the record books after a breach in FIFA’s laws by coach Marc Wilmots.

Belgium coach Wilmots made seven changes in the 5-1 victory against Luxembourg, one more than the maximum limit set by FIFA.

This decision means that Adnan Januzaj loses his first cap for the Diables Rouges, while Romelu Lukaku’s hat-trick also will not count.

Belgium play in Group H in the World Cup alongside Russia, South Korea, and Algeria.
