The Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was a key player as his side claimed the 2-0 victory over Spain that ensures the South Americans progress for the next round of World Cup 2014.  Claudio+Bravo+Spain+v+Chile+WPIoKIj89P_l

Bravo did not just continue with his dreams of becoming a World Champion on June 18 after the Spain win as it is also being reported that the stopper has also added a new employer to his CV.

According to AS, the Chilean No.1 signed a contract with Spanish giants Barcelona to move from Real Sociedad for a transfer fee of €12 million.

However, in his post-match comments Bravo would only speak about Chile’s memorable victory over the World and European Champions and he refused to address his own future:

“I am calm, I will speak about the future, but later,” said Bravo according to AS.com

“Right now I want to enjoy this victory over Spain as it is very important for Chile”.

“Spain were feeling very uncomfortable and the Chilean strategy has always been a weak spot for them.

“It was our chance, we knew it, we did the right things,” concluded the 31-year-old goalkeeper.
