Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has accepted the apology of Liverpool man Luis Suarez.
The Liverpool star appeared to bite Chiellini in the game between Italy and Uruguay on the 24th of June, an action which resulted in Suarez receiving heavy sanctions by FIFA.
On Monday, Suarez apologised and condemned his action via social media website Twitter, and Chiellini responded to the tweet by saying that “it’s all forgotten”.
“It’s all forgotten,” the tweet read. “I hope FIFA will reduce your suspension”.
It is worth mentioning that part of Suarez’s sanctions include a four month ban from football-related activities and a €82,000 fine.
