Miguel Herrera has stated that Mexico are at the party in Brazil and that they now wish to move forward.
A confident quote from the Mexican coach fresh from seeing his team despatch an under whelming Croatian side, pushing his players to win the match despite only needing a draw to progress.
“We are in the party where we can succeed,” Herrera told his Press conference.
“Although a draw would take us to an important moment I told them it was not enough, [after the opening goal] it seems to me that the physical state of Croatia had eroded.”
Mexico now face the impressive Netherlands side in the Round of 16, but having only conceded one goal in three group stage games, Herrera will be hoping to be dancing on the touchline one more this coming weekend.
