Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has revealed that he has not spoken to Azzurri team mate Mario Balotelli since Italy’s World Cup elimination.
Cesare Prandelli’s side suffered a disappointing loss to Uruguay in their final group match, which condemned them to an early exit from the tournament.
Buffon, who played at his fifth and final World Cup was unequivocal when asked as to whether he has had a chat with his team mate at Maplensa Airport.
“Balotelli? I have no interest in speaking to him,” he said.
The Italy forward came under intense scrutiny for his attitude for La Nazionale in the aftermath of a second consecutive failure at the finals.
