Ten candidates will vie for the 2014 Golden Foot award which is presented in Monaco on August 24.
Last year saw Ivorian striker Didier Drogba pick up the trophy.
To be eligible for this award, the players must all be over the age of 28 and be deemed to have left their mark on the beautiful game.
