Manchester United are set to reassess their midfield transfer options and are now looking toward a potential move for Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin.
The 27-year-old Colombian international is seen as an alternative option in midfield as the deposed champions look to re-build an ageing midfield.
According to Caughtoffside.com, after failing in recent attempts to lure Kevin Strootman from Roma and Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich, incoming Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has identified Guarin as a potential target costing upwards of €18 million.
Last season Guarin bagged four goals and six assists for Inter, though was at the centre of a sensational transfer story as a potential move to Juventus collapsed at the last moment.
