Ligue 1 club Monaco are looking to bring Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic to the Stade Louis II Stadium.

The Nerazzurri are believed to be open to offers for the Slovenian, as they try to bring in funds during the summer transfer window.

Inter are hoping to rebuild their squad after finishing fifth in Serie A last season, 42 points behind champions Juventus, and Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the sale of Handanovic could be worth upwards of 15 million.

Monaco, who have dropped their interest in former Barcelona man Victor Valdes, would make the 29-year-old their first choice goalkeeper as they look forward to Champions League football for the first time since the 2004/05 season.

Handanovic made 36 Serie A appearances for Inter in 2013/14 keeping a total of 15 clean sheets.
