Napoli are reportedly interested in Sunderland’s goalkeeper Vito Mannone.
The Partenopei have, as yet, failed to reach an agreement with Liverpool regarding the permanent purchase of Pepe Reina and are now making plans to sign another goalkeeper, should the move collapse.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the 26-year old Italian, who played a major role in Sunderland’s Premier League survival last season, is one of the team’s priority options.
In the first season after moving from Arsenal, Mannone made 36 appearances for the Black Cats and registered 12 clean sheets.
