Nigeria coach, Stephen Keshi was in a buoyant mood following Nigeria’s crucial 1-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the second game of Group F.

Nigeria gained the lead in controversial circumstances after forward Michael Emenike appeared to foul Bosnian defender Emir Spahic in the build up before crossing to find Peter Odemwingie who fired in.

“Everybody is happy in west Africa; Ghana got their result and we won.” Susic told FIFA.com in the post match press conference.

“It’s good for the continent. The fighting spirit we showed was good. I never thought that we wouldn’t make the Round of 16.

“ I have the players. But look at Iran today, if it was not for Lionel Messi. We need to work hard for the game against Argentina.”

Nigeria now go into their final fixture of Group F against Argentina on Wednesday 25th June knowing that a draw would seal automatic qualification for the knockout stage.
