Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has revealed that the capital city club plan on fighting their hardest to win the Scudetto next season.
The 24-year-old, who is returning to Europe after Bosnia and Herzegovina’s group stage elimination from the World Cup in Brazil, admits that he’s looking forward to starting pre-season training in Italy and wants the Giallorossi to do their best in both Serie A and the Champions League during the 2014-15 campaign.
Pjanic spoke to the Corriere della Sera before his departure from Brazil about his excitement to prepare for the upcoming season and expressed his determination to achieve success with Roma.
“I have a great desire to return to Italy,” said the Bosnian international. “I had signed up for another four years with Roma and the season will be starting soon.
“We want to fight to win the Scudetto and we’ll also be looking to go far in the Champions League.”
