AC Milan were defeated 3-0 by Olympiacos at BMO Field in Toronto on Thursday night in the opening match of the 2014 International Champions Cup.

A goal from Alejandro Dominguez put the Rossoneri down early, as Milan failed to produce any real chances throughout the match. The second half saw Dimitris Diamantakos and Andreas Bouchalakis add two more goals for the Greek side in their downing of Milan in Filippo Inzaghi’s first match in charge.

Dominguez scored off a cross after 10 minutes to give Olympiacos the lead. The Argentine neatly put away a beautifully placed cross from Matheiu Dossevi.

Olympiacos continued with the pressure by using their width to feed balls into their opponents end as David Fuster had a brilliant opportunity denied by Milan keeper Gabriel in the 33rd minute.

Shortly after there was an incident involving Riccardo Saponara who brought down Dominguez with a silly challenge that saw him get a yellow in the 41st minute.

Olympiacos continued to dictate a pretty uneventful first half, carrying their momentum into the second as Dimitris Diamantakos added a second goal for the Greek side just in the 49th minute.

Four minutes later Milan began applying some pressure forward as Andrea Poli made use of a quick attack blasting a shot that shook the crossbar.

In the 60th minute Milan made three substitutions bringing on defenders Alex and Phillipe Mexes along with a keeper switch as Michael Agazzi replaced Gabriel.

The defensive substitutions by Fillippo Inzaghi would prove ineffective for the Rossoneri as Olympiacos added a third goal in the 77th minute as Andreas Bouchalakis fired a beautiful shot into the top left corner of the net.

A fan ran onto the pitch in the 83rd minute while managing to take a selfie with Olympiacos midfielder Giannis Manitas before being escorted off by security.

Shortly after three others attempted the same with Milan players causing a lengthy delay in the match before the final whistle blew an end to a disappointing performance for Inzaghi and his side.
