AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy has revealed that his aim is to get back in the Italy set up, while complimenting coach Pippo Inzaghi’s 4-3-3 approach and praising the latest Primavera graduates.

Il Faraone has also wished new Juventus tactician Massimiliano Allegri good luck ahead of his new adventure with the Old Lady.

“There is a strong desire for redemption from all my teammates because last season was not the best,” he told Milannews.it.

“We are all hungry and we want to start the season well and we’re working hard in the pre-season to achieve something next season. There is every reason to have a good season.”

The former Genoa prospect went on to heap praise on the Primavera players who have been called up for first team duties by coach Pippo.

“Modic is a young man with great potential, but you can see that they’re all doing well. Logically, we’re still at the beginning, but there is so much enthusiasm in the squad.”

The Italo-Egyptian then expressed his views on Mr Inzaghi’s decision to adopt the 4-3-3 formation for the 2014-15 campaign.

“The 4-3-3 formation is something that I prefer and I can feel the confidence of Mister Inzaghi with this approach. With [Ricardo] Saponara and [Kevin] Constant I feel good and fit into the triangle [on the left wing] with ease.

“We are still at the beginning and working on the right mechanisms.”

The 21-year-old then conveyed his wishes to Max Allegri who was recently confirmed as the Bianconeri coach.

“I wish Mister Allegri the best of luck because he was a coach who gave me a lot of confidence. But I also enjoy a good relationship with Inzaghi, not just on the pitch, but even as a companion.

“He brings with him great enthusiasm and is a man who has a lot of desire to achieve more and demonstrate his worth as a coach after so man glorious years as a player.”

The Savona-born prospect then spoke of his partner in attack, Mario Balotelli.

“Mario is a Milan player and we believe that he can do great things and you can expect him to score more often next season.

“We need to work well from game to game. This year we will focus only on Serie A and we hope to do well. My goal is to get back in the reckoning for the national team, but first, there’s Milan and I hope to do well this term.”

El Shaarawy managed only six Serie A appearances during the 2013-14 season due to a foot injury, but finished as the Rossoneri’s top scorer in the previous campaign.
