AC Milan have stepped up their attempts to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco amidst interest from Liverpool and Sevilla.

The Rossoneri had begun to entertain the idea of the Spanish international arriving but only once Robinho had left the club.

Spanish newspaper AS understands Milan have submited an offer to Los Blancos in order to beat others to player’s signature.

Coach Filippo Inzaghi is in search of a top quality midfield playmaker to link his team and help fashion their attacking moves.

With the 22 year-old seemingly determined to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu a loan move could well be on the cards.

Only into his second season with the Spanish giants Isco is at risk of being eased out Carlo Ancelotti’s starting-eleven.

Both Liverpool and Sevilla have made enquires with the latter preparing an offer to take the player on loan.
