Football agent Franco Zavaglia has suggested that goalkeeper Marco Amelia may look to England and West Bromwich Albion for his football this coming season.
The former AC Milan custodian is now out of contract and is free to find a new employer.
Zavaglia told Sportitalia, “Are West Brom looking at him? Well it is a possibility. He would do well in England, we shall have to wait and see what happens.”
Amelia is a World Cup winner, having lifted the trophy for Italy in 2006 during the Germany tournament. He joined the Rossoneri in 2010 but in his four years at club the 32-year old has only managed 29 appearances.
Throughout his time at Milan he failed to oust Christian Abbiati as the number one goalie in the side.
