Galliani - AC MilanAC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi, vice-president Adriano Galliani, and new coach Filippo Inzaghi met in in Arcore on Sunday evening to discuss the club’s transfer plans for the rest of the transfer window.

The Rossoneri have deemed a new right winger and left full back necessary as Inzaghi wishes to play with a 4-3-3 for the 2014/15 season. In addition, Milan have also been linked with a new goalkeeper to challenge 37 year old Christian Abbiati for the starting spot between the posts.

According to MilanNews.it, there are three players that the Rossoneri strongly wish to bring to Milan in Alessio Cerci, Luis Nani, and Domenico Criscito.

Both Cerci and Nani have been subject to much transfer speculation, albeit for differing reasons. Cerci has been linked to bigger clubs across Europe due to his outstanding 2013/14 season, whereas Nani has been linked with a move away from Manchester United due to his increasingly ineffective performances as of late.

While Milan have been linked with Cerci for quite some time now, it is thought that Berlusconi would prefer to swoop for Nani at a cut price deal as his value would be considerably less than Cerci, who has been valued by current club Torino at €20 million.

However, Manchester United have set Nani’s asking price at €14m, much more than Milan’s valuation of he player of around €8m, prompting Milan to push Manchester United for a much lower fee.

At left full back, Milan are reportedly willing to offer one of Philippe Mexes, Cristian Zapata, or Ignazio Abate plus cash to land Domenico Criscito.
