The FIFA committee have announced the winners of the FIFA World Cup awards.
The announced winners feature no two players from the same national team, with two players playing in the final.
Argentina captain Lionel Messi ended up with the Golden Ball award which is presented to the best player at the World Cup, while German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer won the Golden Glove as the tournament’s best goalkeeper.
The Golden Boot award, awarded to the top goalscorer, was awarded to Colombian international James Rodriguez while Paul Pogba won the tournament’s Best Young Player.
It is also worth mentioning that Germany won their fourth FIFA World Cup by beating Argentina on Sunday at the Estadio Maracana.
