Genoa may make a move for AC Milan defender Cristian Zaccardo as the Rossoneri look to trim their roster.
The 32 year old former Italian international is a fringe member of the Rossoneri and has been given permission by the club to seek out other destinations for next season.
Sky Sport Italia report that Genoa are considering making a bid for the ex-Parma man and developments are expected soon.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani confirmed that Zaccardo has received numerous offers this window, but that none have satisfied his requirements so far.
Zaccardo is currently on tour with Milan and started in their heavy 3-0 defeat to Olympiacos last Thursday.
