Juventus confirm Manchester United signing

Juventus have announced the signing of defender Patrice Evra from English giants Manchester United.

The 33 year old French full back moved to the Red Devils in 2006 from AS Monaco for a transfer fee of  €8 million and went on to represent the most coveted team in England in more than 250 games winning the UEFA Champions League once.

Juventus confirmed on their official website that they had acquired Evra while also giving the details of the signed contract between the two parties in concern.

Evra completes Juventus move as the French international full-back joins the Bianconeri from Manchester United after putting pen to paper on a two-year contract,“ read a statement on the club’s official website.

Juventus Football Club can today announce that Patrice Evra has signed a two-year contract with the club after a fee of £1.2 million, to be paid in two separate installments, was agreed with Manchester United.

A further payment of £0.3 million will be made to Manchester United in the event of Juventus qualifying for the 2015/16 Champions League.

Evra featured in 33 games in the English Premier League last season scoring once and providing two assists.
