Patrice Evra FranceLong term Juventus target Patrice could still join Antonio Conte’s men this summer, despite recently one-year extension at Manchester United.

Manchester United took up their option to resign Evra to a new one year deal at the end of last season, but the recent signing of €37 million pound left back Luke Shaw offers Juventus an opening to sign a long term target.

As reported by Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri will contact Manchester United in the next few days in the hope of pressing ahead with a move to finally acquire the French full back.

Antonio Conte has long been a fan of Evra and is believed to have tried to sign him last Summer and as his contract expired this year, but the Frenchman only recently signed a one-year extension.

Evra made 33 appearances last season but the arrival of Shaw means the Frenchman’s position in the team is threat, and at the age of 33 he could be tempted for one last challenge at one of Europes biggest clubs.
