Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has hinted at a possible move to Manchester United this summer by expressing that he feels the English side is one of the best clubs in the world.

The 27-year-old, who scored 11 goals and provided six assists in his 32 Serie A appearances for the Old Lady last term, has been strongly linked with a move to the Red Devils in recent months though he claims that he hasn’t been in contact with any outside clubs and currently has no plans of leaving the Bianconeri in the near future.

Vidal spoke to La Tercera about the chances of him joining Manchester United in the coming months and commented on fellow Chilean international Alexis Sanchez’s recent transfer from Barcelona to Arsenal.

“I know of these rumours, but I have not spoken of my eventual departure with anyone,” said the Juventus man.

“I’m enjoying my time on holiday and we will analyse the situation once I return to Italy. I’m very calm.

“Who wouldn’t love to play for Manchester United? They are one of the best clubs in the world.

“Alexis Sanchez? I’m very happy for him, he needed to take this kind of step for his career and he will do good things with Arsenal.”
