Lazio are making an ambitious move for Botafogo defender Doria, who captained Brazil at the Toulon tournament.
The 19-year-old Brazilian international is highly regarded in his homeland, and is seen as a future captain of the Brazilian national team.
Sky Sport Italia reveal that Lazio have contacted the Brazilian club about a possible move for the young gun and are negotiating at the moment.
It is being reported that a fee of €9-10 million would be sufficient enough for Botafogo to part ways with Doria.
The deal would represent something of a coup for Lazio with European heavyweight’s Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Juventus all known admirers of the young centre back.
