Free agent Rodrigo Taddei has sealed a switch to Serie B newcomers Perugia after holding talks with club president Massimilliano Santopadre.
The 34-year-old versatile midfielder spent the last nine seasons with Roma but was released earlier this summer after no new deal was forthcoming for the player.
Perugia president Santopadre did enough to convince Taddei to play in Serie B as he outlined his ambitions for the Umbrian outfit, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Brazilian made nearly 300 appearances for Roma during his stay in the capital, while Perugia are participating in their first season in Serie B in nine seasons having secured promotion for the Lega Pro Prima Divisione.
