A new ‘Totti’ will now be appearing for the Giallorossi as Francesco’s son, Cristian, has joined the youth ranks of his father’s team.

The youngster took part in recent trials and was one of the lucky few to be selected to join the capital club come September.

According to Corriere dello Sport, ‘Totti Junior’ will be playing alongside other boys in the pulcini age group, for players aged 8 or over.

Roma fans will be hopeful that the Totti dynasty continues given the success of dad Francesco.  Er Pupone has played 560 times for his club, notching 235 goals.  He also appeared 56 time for Italy, becoming a World Champion in 2006 after helping his country to lift the trophy in the Germany finals.

Whether or not Cristian is handed the famous number 10 jersey still remains to be seen.
