AC Milan and Fernando Torres are still some way off reaching a deal to bring the Chelsea player to Serie A.
The Rossoneri reached and agreement with the Premier League side over a loan deal for the striker, but now issues have arisen over the 30-year-old’s salary.
According to Mediaset, there is a difference of €2.5 million between the two parties.
Milan are ready to offer €3m a season to the player, with Chelsea making up €1.2m, but Torres wants to keep his current wage of €6.7m, and his club are not willing to increase their contribution.
More negotiations are scheduled as Milan look to bring Torres to the San Siro.
