AC Milan have reportedly enquired about the availability of Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

After the Spanish giants secured the signing of Keylor Navas on Monday it is believed by many that Lopez will be shipped out of the capital club leaving the new Madrid signing to battle with club legend Iker Casillas for the No.1 spot at the Bernabau.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Milanese club are looking for reinforcements in the goalkeeper department with Christian Abbiati ageing and Michael Agazzi not impressing during pre-season.

It is believed the two main targets that have emerged are the Spaniard and young Italian prospect Mattia Perin, while Galliani is looking to begin negotiations with Real Madrid over Lopez as soon as possible.
