Pablo Armero, who starred for Colombia during the World Cup, is set to move to AC Milan on loan as a replacement for outgoing left back Kevin Constant.

Armero is currently owned by Udinese as the Zebrette reclaimed full ownership of the player following a poor spell at Napoli.

Thanks to his impressive World Cup campaign in Brazil,  Sky Sport Italia are reporting that Milan have swooped in to take the defender on loan following Kevin Constant’s move from Milan to Trabzonspor, with the Rossoneri having an option to purchase at any time during the year long loan.

Armero is highly regarded in Italy after a wonderful spell for Udinese between 2010 and 2013, but having been brought to Napoli by former coach Walter Mazzarri, the wing back struggled to perform under current Napoli coach Rafa Benitez, leading to a loan move to England with West Ham United and a subsequent return to Udinese.

Armero would join the likes of Alex, Jeremy Menez and Adil Rami as new additions to the Rossoneri squad this summer.
