AC Milan forward Robinho has expressed his love for former club Santos through his official Twitter page on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Rossoneri in recent weeks with his most likely destinations being seen as new MLS side Orlando City and Brazilian club Santos, though it seems the ex-Manchester City man’s move to the United States will be put on hold for now in order to make an imminent return to the Peixe.
Robinho posted a short statement on his official Twitter page accompanied by an old image of him in a Santos shirt, which has led many to believe he could be close to striking a deal with his former team.
“With technique and discipline, giving blood with love! For the flag that teaches how to fight with ardour and faith,” read the tweet.
The forward scored three goals and provided five assists in his 25 Serie A appearances for AC Milan last term.
