After Osvaldo and Medel captures, Inter are set to sell

Inter have apparently put Fredy Guarin and Ricky Alvarez up for sale as they look to reduce their squad size after a summer of activity.

So far this summer Inter have signed Nemanja Vidic, Pablo Osvaldo, Yann M’Vila, Dodo, Rene Krhin and Tommaso Berni with Gary Medel set to join the Nerazzurri in the coming hours, while outgoings have been restricted to contract expiries and loan deals.

And according to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri will now concentrate on removing players from their books, with Colombian midfielder Guarin and versatile Argentine Alvarez earmarked as the biggest departures as coach Walter Mazzarri looks to trim his squad.

Guarin has returned from his post World Cup holiday and looks set to be the first name out the door, with Juventus, Monaco and Manchester United allegedly monitoring the 28 year old, who is believed to be available for €18 million.

Next out the door could be Argentine international Ricky Alvarez, also just returned following Argentina’s World Cup final appearance, while Serbian midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic is also surplus to requirements and garnering interest from Spain and Germany.

Finally, a number of youngsters are due to leave on loan, with Uruguayan Diego Laxalt heavily linked with a move to newly promoted Empoli, exciting Argentine forward Ruben Botta is being monitored by Torino, who see him as a potential Alessio Cerci replacement, while defender Ibrahima Mbaye looks set to join Genoa in the coming days.
