Balotelli medical with Liverpool set for Friday

Mario Balotelli could officially be a Liverpool player as early as Friday as the Premier League club has scheduled his medical for that day.

The news broke Thursday that the AC Milan player would be moving the Liverpool this weekend in a deal worth €20 million.

Sky Sport Italia reported that the Italian will be travelling to England and will have his formal medical on Friday.

If he passes the medical, as expected, he will be introduced to the media and sign a four-year deal worth €5.8m a season.

Balotelli will be making his return to the Premier League, where he played with Manchester City from 2010-2013.
